Welcome to the Meyersville Grange's new Website.

Meyersville Grange #188, Patrons of Husbandry was formed in 1909. It is the last Grange left in Morris County and one of only a few in New Jersey.

The National Grange, located in Washington, D.C. was organized in 1867 and the New Jersey Grange in 1872.
Our Meyersville Grange 188 (originally The Passaic Township Grange 188) was granted its charter in 1909. First meetings were held in the building facing the Meyersville Presbyterian Church. In 1926 the present Grange Hall at 500 Meyersville Rd. was built, a team effort on the part of all its members.
Originally. The Grange was a meeting place for farm folk to meet and help one another with farm related problems. They did more than that because some of their many accomplishments were that they were responsible for starting the State Police, rural mail delivery, and many other services we take for granted today. Meetings take place once a month and members look forward to many pleasant social activities such as the popular Soup and Pasta contest, Oktoberfest Dinner, Argyles Fish and Chips Dinner and more. The Grange Hall is also available for rent for parties or other events.
Today, Grangers carry on the traditions started by their founders—to make the Grange a real family fraternity. The Grange benefits people, the community, the state and the nation.

If you would like to help preserve this century old tradition and contribute to its worthy purposes in the future, or want more information, contact the President Glenn Gundersen at 908-295-1842 or the Vice President Mary Lamson at 732-469-2688.
